Assessment of the Bank’s position in the sector in 2016

31% market share in loans

The Bank’s share in the participation banking sector stood at 31% and the market share in the overall banking sector stood at 1.5%.

Türkiye Finans wrote a net profit of TL 296.2 million in the 2016 full year, maintaining its strong and sustainable profitability.

At the end of 2016, Türkiye Finans’s total asset volume amounted to TL 38.8 billion. The total volume of loans, including financial leasing receivables, stood at around TL 27 billion at the end of 2016. The Bank’s share in the participation banking sector stood at 31% and the market share in the overall banking sector stood at 1.5%.

The total volume of funds collected** by Türkiye Finans, which constitutes 25% of the participation banking total, stood at TL 21.1 billion at the end of 2016, while the volume of non-cash funds supplied stood at TL 12.4 billion.

The capital adequacy ratio of the banking sector maintained 15.57% at the end of 2016. Türkiye Finans’ capital adequacy ratio increased from 13.51% at the end of 2015 to 15.58% at the end of 2016, thanks to effective capital management.

As of the year-end, Türkiye Finans was operating with 286 branches and 3,989 personnel.
