Risk Management Center Director
Emre Ünal graduated from the Department of Statistics of the Middle East Technical University. He holds an MBA degree from Yeditepe University and continues his doctoral studies in the Department of Financial Economics of the same university. Starting his career as the Assistant Information Technologies Specialist at Yurt Ticaret and Yapı Kredi Bankası in 1999, he later worked as the Statistician and Quality Specialist at AKSA Acrylic Chemical Industry between 2001-2006 and as the Analytical Team Leader at Crif Turkey between 2007-2012. Mr. Ünal embarked on the banking sector and started at Akbank as the Rating /Scoring Modelling Manager in 2012. Then he worked as the Risk Analysis and Modelling Vice President between 2015 and 2017 in ABank. He joined Türkiye Finans in 2017 as the Risk Analysis Vice President. As of August 2017, he was appointed as Acting Risk Management Center Director. Emre Ünal has been appointed as Risk Management Center Director principally as of January 2018.
His areas of responsibility at Türkiye Finans Katılım Bankası as the Director of Risk Management Center
are to take necessary precautions to define, measure, report, track and control risks and to diminish their impacts on the Bank via policies, implementing procedures and limits related to risks by considering the impacts of the risks that the Bank is exposed to, and potential risks. The position also involves managing the execution and updating of risk management activities and processes, pursuant to legislation and best practices.

HASAN ÇEVİK
Internal Control & Compliance Director
Hasan Çevik graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Economics, in 2003. He holds a Master’s degree from Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Department of International Finance and Participation Banking. He is currently continuing his doctorate studies at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Department of Islamic Economics and International Finance. Hasan Çevik started to work as Assistant Auditor at Türkiye Finans in 2007 and held the positions of the Reporting and Action Tracking Officer and Assistant Manager between 2010-2013, Risk Control Self-Assessment Assistant Manager between 2013-2016, and Headquarters Control Supervisor between 2016-2019. He has been working as Internal Control Manager since 2019. As of April 18, 2022, Çevik has been appointed as the Internal Control and Compliance Deputy Director. As of July 19, 2022, he was appointed as the Internal Control and Compliance Director.

VEHBİ KÖK
Chairman of the Inspection Board
After graduating from Marmara University Computer Engineering Department in 1998, Vehbi Kök completed his MBA at Yeditepe University and his master’s degree in Banking at Marmara University. Vehbi Kök, who started his career in 1997, worked in different companies in the field of software as Internet Application Developer, Software Engineer and Manager for about 10 years. Vehbi Kök, who started his duty in our Bank’s Inspection Board in 2007, served as Information Systems and Support Functions Audits Manager. As of December 7, 2020, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Inspection Board.
