What is a Daily Account?
A Daily Account is a special current account with daily profit accrual, allowing you to manage deposits, withdrawals, and all standard banking transactions. A Daily Account can be opened in TRY, USD, or EUR.
With a Daily Account, you can deposit and withdraw funds, perform all your banking transactions via Mobile Branch, Internet Branch, or at your nearest branch, and set up give direct debit instructions if you wish. The key advantage of the Daily Account is that the remaining balance in the account is accrued overnight at special profit rates.
What Are the Features of the Daily Account?

- A 15% withholding tax is applied to the account.
- A Daily Account may be opened with a zero balance. However, in order for the Daily Account to generate profit, the available balance must be at least equal to the sum of the minimum balance required to remain in the current account and the minimum balance eligible for profit accrual. Accordingly, to benefit from daily profit rates, the total balance of a TRY Daily Account must be at least TRY 10,000. For USD and EUR accounts, the minimum balance required to remain in the current account and the minimum balance eligible for profit accrual are specified in the table below.
- For a TRY Daily Account, the minimum balance required to remain in the current account within current account transaction limits is at least TRY 5,000 and at most TRY 5,500,000.

After deducting this required current balance from the total account balance, the remaining balance (up to a maximum of TRY 44,500,000) becomes eligible for profit accrual, and the profit rate applicable to the relevant tier is applied to this balance.
- If the balance eligible for profit accrual in the Daily Account exceeds the upper limit of TRY 44,500,000 in accordance with the specified tier structure, the excess amount shall remain in the current account.
- On business days, the balance in the Daily Account is determined at 4:30 p.m. in line with the amount ranges determined by the Bank and, as of 6:30 p.m. on the same day, the eligible balance is transferred to a deposit account for profit accrual purposes. On the following business day, the amount eligible for profit accrual, together with the accrued profit, is transferred back to the Daily Account as of 09:00 a.m.
- The entire balance in the Daily Account may be withdrawn and used for all banking transactions on business days between 09:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. After 6:30 p.m., only the current balance remaining in the account, excluding the amount eligible for profit accrual, may be used.
- For both full business days and half business days, amounts deposited into the account before 4:30 p.m. are taken into account with the same day’s value date, while amounts deposited after 4:30 p.m. are taken into account with the next business day’s value date. Withdrawals/balance outflows are processed with the same day’s value date.
- The profit rate shall in no case exceed the inflation differential determined for the relevant currency.
- For the purposes of profit calculation, the number of days in a year is taken as 365 in non-leap years and 366 in leap years.
