Yunus Nacar, a member of Board of Directors and General Manager at Türkiye Finans, retired on June 1, 2011. Veysel Derya Gürerk, Assistant General Manager in charge of Transformation and Project Management, was appointed to the position of General Manager, which became vacant upon retirement of Mr. Nacar.
V. Derya Gürerk, born in Ankara in 1963, received MBA in banking and finance from Manchester Business School and University of Wales after graduating from Gazi University Economic and Administrative Sciences Faculty.
Starting his career at Etibank (from 1983 to 1985), V. Derya Gürerk held various positions at Citibank Turkey, Citibank New York, Kentbank, Türkiye İş Bankası, AVEA in and Dedeman Holding, in this order.
Following the role as Türkiye Finans Assistant General Manager since August 2009, V. Derya Gürerk assumed the positions of a Member of Board of Directors and the General Manager as from 1 June 2011.
